Working Mamas

I give big props to all the working mamas out there! I'm working out my notice at the American Red Cross after 10 years of my career coming to an end on March 4. It's a bitter sweet time for me. I will miss my job and colleagues but will be so happy to be home with Ryan. Poppy, CC, Nana and Grandy have been troopers keeping our little guy while I'm working. It's a lot of work and a huge sacrifice for them to help us, but they do it with lots of love. Ryan is getting lots of grandparent time! To all the women that work full time or did with little ones, you go! I'm constantly feeling pulled and there's not enough time in the day to do everything. I'm looking forward to being a stay at home mama for a while. We are blessed that we've worked it out so I can do that.

2 months old

Ryan is now 2 months old! I can't believe it. It's flown by! We had our 2 month well check for Ryan this past week. Our little guy was 11.3 lbs and 24 inches long. He's growing a lot! Things he's doing now: smiling and cooing at mommy and daddy, trying to laugh (still working on this), getting on a great schedule, trying to sleep all night (typically sleeping from 8/9-3/4, then till 7), getting better at napping and just being sweet boy! We no longer have a newborn! Ryan had to get 3 shots. It was soooo sad. He screamed bloody murder which just broke my heart! He really did ok, just an initial scream. We'll go back at the end of March for the next round of shots. Yuck! We are enjoying our little guy so much and can't believe how much he's changed. It's all so precious :)

Outfits

Here are a couple of outfits from when Lee was a baby. The second one is the outfit Lee came home from the hospital in. It's so neat to still have them and for them to fit Ryan! We had to take some pictures!!

Weekend in Farmville

Last weekend we went to Farmville to visit Lee's family. Jay, Belinda and Matthew got to meet Ryan! Matthew was funny, he didn't quite know what to think of Ryan. I think babies weren't quite his thing! One day boys, you'll be good friends and play together!
