The boys

Ryan's friends Eli and Hudson came over to play today. We've been meaning to get some pics of the kiddos together but haven't in a while so we took the opportunity to get some today. These boys were all born within a month of each other so us mamas get to compare notes on what each others kids are up to. We all struggle with different things, but also struggle with many of the same things!

Our crazy week....

This week has been an interesting week for us. Ryan started getting sick last weekend when he was staying with Nana and Grandy in Farmville (without Mama and Daddy). By Monday I took him to the doctor to get checked out. His nose was running nonstop and he had a nasty cough. As it turns out, Ryan had RSV, a respiratory virus, that is contagious. The treatment? I call it "house arrest" for the week. Now, anyone can understand that being locked up in the house for a week stinks, but add a active toddler to the situation and it's no fun. We haven't played for any length of time with friends this week like we normally do so we've (mainly me I guess)been stir crazy. We managed a few good walks with some friends (no playing of course, only stroller time) and a trip to the park. It was 75 yesterday and gorgeous so I thought we could get out and go to a park that has lots of open space and is usually not busy where Ryan could just roam around. He had a ball and Mama practiced taking pictures....my new hobby. I'm learning that it's hard to get a toddler to look up at you, or at least look up. Ryan is usually looking down, watching where he's walking and checking out the scene.   I was shocked that he was the only kiddo at this park yesterday.  Guess there was no chance of him getting anyone sick!!  :)

There's no baby here anymore....only a CURIOUS toddler!!!

Playing with Jenna and Jillian- Take 2 (original post date 2/5/12)

Blogger is constantly challenging me so forgive me for reposting a couple of things.  It seems that Picasa Web Albums gets full and will only hold so many pictures...and if you delete them off the web album, it deletes them throughout any Google product you have that picture in.  Smart huh?  Not really.  So now I've got reconfigure how I post our blogs, but I know you really don't care too much about those details.  So here is a repost of a post I did last Sunday.....It was just too cute for me not to repost.  Take 2.

Lee went to Myrtle Beach for 3 days on a work trip this week and didn't get back until Saturday night so Ryan and I took the opportunity to go visit the Cox family on Saturday for the day. Jenna and Jillian are only 3 months older than Ryan so it's fun to see them all in action toddling around and talking their toddler language to each other.

Playing chase in the hallway!

 Reggie reading to the girls.

Feeding all 3....a busy time!! (Left to Right: Jenna, Jillian) It's really hard for me to tell the girls apart. I was much better at it when they were younger.

Just a swinging...

Awe....

Soooo CUTE!!! Bella is the lastest addition to the Cox household!

Just Hanging- Take 2 (original post date: 2/5/12)

Last week while Daddy was gone we had some awesome weather! 75 in February is awesome!! Here are some pics from a quick visit to Wallace Park on one of those gorgeous days.

Nite Nite

As I was doing laundry today I washed Ryan's Tiger and Rabbit (something I have to do frequently). So after bath time right before bed we had to go retrieve Tiger and Rabbit out of the dryer so he could have them for Nite Nite. Normally we save his special friends for crib time, but since we were getting ready for bed we let him play with Tiger for a couple of minutes before he went down. Here are a couple of pics of our little boy blue :)  Nite Nite sweet boy.
