Flying With Poppy

Last Monday the boys and I were supposed to fly to Georgia with Poppy and CC to see our extended family.  The weather was a bit iffy here in Wilmington but turned out to be ok for flying.  Poppy and CC flew from Burlington to Wilmington to pick us up.  We got locked and loaded and headed out.  Ryan was excited to fly with Poppy.  He hadn't flown since he was 17 months old so it had been a while and Seth had never flown.  Our trip didn't quite work out as expected.  Poppy had to land the plane in Burlington and not take us all the way to Georgia.  There were some non emergent issues with the plane that Poppy felt like needed to be handled so we landed in Burlington and opted not to continue with our trip so the plane could be worked on.  We had a short flight, but both boys did great.  We spent the night in Btown and Poppy and CC drove us back to Wilmington on Tuesday.  It was definitely a whirl wind trip!!  That was our 3rd attempt to go to Georgia that had to get canceled.  Hopefully we'll get to see our family soon!!
