Last week we spent the week in Surf City with the whole Coker/Craft crew. We had a fun week filled with beach and family. The weather was great, minus the crazy flood waters the day we checked in. Here are some pics from the week in no particular order.
Ryan and Bella are two peas in a pod. I caught them snuggling together on the couch as they watched a show on tv. I love how she's holding on to his arm!
Beaching it with the littles. Seth LOVES Gabrielle so much. He gets so excited to talk to her and play close by her. Next time they come she will definitely be his partner in crime!
David's laying in the sand and water chatting it up with the kiddos. He has a captive audience!
Mama Sophia is reading to the big kiddos.
Cool dude Tobin!
Seth is giving me the, "Mama, please come help me fill my bucket up with water!" look. He was a busy little guy on the beach. He kept us on our toes for sure. He got so comfortable that he would just run straight in to the water and get creamed by waves and not care a bit. He'd do it all over again, not scared a bit. This kid has no fear. No fear at all. Mama is slightly scared!
We had lots of early mornings, earlier than we normally have at home. With 6 kiddos in the house and the majority of them sick, sharing rooms with siblings when they are not used to it, etc, early mornings just seemed to happen. Normal wake up time that week for us was about 6:15 so we caught the sunrise a couple of times. It's so pretty! (but if we're going to be completely honest, I think we'd rather have gotten a few minutes of extra sleep than seen the sunrise! Just being honest....and tired!!)
Friday night at the Surf City Pier! That place was bumping! We saw a baby shark get caught and we even got to touch it.
