Catching Up With The Crafts: Welcome Home

David and his family flew in last week for a 2 month stay in the States so we all traveled to Poppy and CC's to visit them for a long weekend. It was such fun to visit with D&L and the kiddos. Ryan had a BALL playing with his cousins and getting to know them. Sophia was such a big girl and just took to Ryan like crazy. He followed both she and Bella around all weekend giving hugs, playing with play dough, reading, swimming, and just running around playing. It was a busy house at Poppy and CC's, that's for sure! We always love reuniting with D&L (although we always know it ends with sad goodbyes) and being a family unit for the short time we have them with us. I'm so glad that Ryan will get to play with Sophia, Bella and Tobin off and on for the next few weeks. There's so much love there already! Here are some shots of our weekend together!

Uncle David taking Ryan down the slide. Mama's not up for that these days so he helped me chase Ryan around the park quite a bit. I think David got the gist of just how mobile Ryan is. VERY. MOBILE. and super fast!

All pooped out. Between playing hard and having jet lag, they all had a to take a short break and rest.

At one of our parks we saw this super sized Great Dane. It was the biggest dog I have ever seen. Really, it was huge. The owner said it weighs 205 lbs. The kids were amazed and wanted to check him out.

I bet Sophia helped Ryan go down a big kid slide about 20 times. She was being a big helper and enjoying getting Ryan to follow her around. He loved every minute of it. They did the slide over, and over, and over and over. So much fun!
